This data was taken by a Global DIRT assessment team of the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant. Data was collected using a Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation SAM 940 Defender / Revealer. Data was collected up to within 5ft of the plant's fence. The map below represents
airborne readings in uSv/Hr in various points that the team stopped and got out of the vehicle. Readings were taken while the unit was held 1 meter off the ground. The purpose of this map is to show the saturation that the area has of alpha/beta radiation which
cause a much higher uSv/hr level in Fukushima Prefecture. Data for this map was taken on Sunday 10 April, 2011.
