Global DIRT and Can-do.org on AC360

Just a quick update for those who missed the flurry of tweets and Facebook messages. Global DIRT was mentioned on the July 13 episode of Anderson Cooper 360 (or AC360).

In a segment about the poor planning and coordination between food warehouses and various centers of need (ie: orphanages and tent cities), Global DIRT was cited for its knowledge in this particular area. Adam's photos of multiple fully stocked warehouses were used in the segment. Dr. Sanjay Gupta's clip also included shots of Can-do.org's team supplying an orphanage with very little food from a fully stocked warehouse only a few blocks away. The segment was meant to showcase the need for further cooperation between NGOs and centers of need so that the victims of this earthquake may be better served.

There is absolutely no need for warehouses to remain full if people are suffering and starving. Global DIRT and Can-do.org are working hard to rectify this problem.
